JLA is an expert provisioner of Move Management or aka ORAT (Operational Readiness, Activation & Transfer) services, a tested and proven methodology used to transition a commissioned construction site to full-scale operations.
Why ORAT?
Delayed openings, unexpected cost and loss of business are often a result of improper planning and coordination of:
- Facilities
- Information Systems
- People Before Opening Day
Our Process
How We Do It?
Your JLA ORAT manager comes with a commitment to detail, communication and oversight that will allow us to help your business successfully transition to a new facility. We start with measurable goals, achieve set milestones, and provide the necessary training and documentation to leave our customers in complete confidence in and complete control of newly transitioned environment.
ORAT Services
Liaise: Serve as liaison between construction teams, stakeholders, end users, and third-party teams.
Move (ORAT) Team: Develop team to coordinate move (ORAT) activities, including owner, construction, end users, and other stakeholders – allowing us to assemble a complete plan with everyone in mind.
Move (ORAT) Details: Identify and document move (ORAT) details with each end user / stakeholder from files to large equipment, depending on the type of move (ORAT).
3rd Party Teams: Commission and manage third party teams; movers, IT, etc.
SOP’s: Identify changes to standard operating procedures, or other changes that require training and communication. (For example, a client in their current location might issue hand-written receipts, but in the new facility, they will be using a software.) Identifying these changes and training users prior to move (ORAT) allows a more seamless transition with less impact to operations.
FF&E: Identify a catalog furniture, fixtures, and equipment, and plan for move (ORAT) or procurement of new assets.
Schedule: Develop and implement a relocation plan and schedule.
Close-Out
Closeout is the final process of ORAT.
JLA establishes the required close-out documents from the beginning and continually monitors the collection process.
We verify that all punch-list corrections are completed, all systems tested, and the facility is ready for handover to owners.
Our goal is to help seamlessly transition to your new facility and minimize disruption to operations.
